“Mr Alan Kyeremanten should jettison YB off his campaign team – Told

Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam Adoagyiri Frank Annoh-Dompreh has asked flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alan Kyerematen to drop former MP for Adentan Yaw Buaben Asamoa from his campaign team.

Mr Annoh-Dompreh indicated that Buaben Asamoah insults the judgments of the NPP MPs who want Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to be elected flagbearer of the party ahead of the 2024 elections.

He also said Buaben Asamoa is unable to connect and has become clueless.

“Ya Buaben may keep insulting the sense of judgement of the many MPs who are with the Veep. I can assure you that your candidate will pay for it dearly sooner.. Revise your crude strategies & and antics!.. You are dead on arrival … The MPs will show the way, take it, or leave it.

“Mr Alan Kyeremanten should jettison YB off his campaign team. He simply can not connect & has become clueless.. I pity your campaign strategies…pathetic,” Annoh-Dompreh tweeted on Wednesday, March 15.

This was after Yaw Buaben Asamoah alleged that NPP lawmakers are being forced to support Dr Bawumia.

“Now as we speak, MPs are being called and threatened into joining a certain delegation for the upcoming Akwasidae just to prove that they have numbers and Annoh-Dompreh is into it,” he said

“How are MPs who are supposed to be thinking and strategizing about protecting their seats being forced into joining a presidential campaign and are being threatened? Akwasidae is coming and we will all witness it. They are saying 100 MPs will follow the Vice President,” he said on Accra-based Okay FM.

He added “Ask Annoh Dompreh about who has been writing the names of MPs who will follow the vice president to Kumasi. They want to prove that he is loved by the MPs and that he is the right candidate.

“Those MPs are tired, they have seats to protect. Those seats are in the interest of all of us. We will all suffer if we lose any of the 137 seats, we want more in addition.”
