Black Stars Goalkeeper, Joseph Wollacott has been given the greenlight to train on Wednesday ahead of Ghana’s AFCON Qualifier against Angola on Thursday.
This comes after the Charlton Athletic Shot stopper picked up a soft tissue contusion of the right big toe in Tuesday night’s training at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, after a moveable goal post fell on him.
According to the Ghana Football Association, Wollacott was immediately assessed by the medical team and given immediate treatment and has been cleared for Wednesday’s training session.
The 26-year old will also be available for selection ahead of the Angola game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ghana’s Black Stars will play Angola on Thursday 23rd March at the Baba Yara Stadium in the first leg before heading to Luanda for the second leg slated for March 27.
