Presumptive Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama will on Friday, April 14 visit four constituencies to start his campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region.
The tour was earlier postponed to allow for the vetting of parliamentary candidates last week.
Though it is resuming, the campaign tour will see the former president visit only four constituencies namely Ada, Sege, Ningo-Prampram and Kpone Katamanso.
“The dates for the tour of the remaining thirty(30) Constituencies will be communicated to the public in due course,” a notice issued by the Greater Accra NDC Communications Officer, Jerry Johnson, said.
Mr Mahama just completed a three-day tour of the Eastern Region, having been to over eight regions of the country.
He is campaigning to be re-elected the Presidential Candidate of the NDC for the 2024 elections.
The primaries are scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 13.
Mr Mahama faces contest from former Finance Minister Dr Kwabena Duffuor and former Chief Executive of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Kojo Bonsu.
