Football: In a statement posted on X, the Sunyani based club announce that Bofoakwa was to leave with his assistant coach, Isaac Kofi Sarfo.
Earlier reports had suggested that the former Black Stars defender was asked over unimpressive performances.
However, fresh information emerging from the club have revealed the real reasons behind the sacking.
Club sources say Frimpong Manso was fired primarily because he lost control of the dressing room. Sources say his handling of the team left the dressing room divided, a situation that ultimately reflected in the team’s performance.
Frimpong Manso is said to have fallen out of favor with the hierarchy and the supporters of the club. The toxic nature of the relationship with the supporters is what culminated in the attempts to attack him after Sunday’s stalemate with Nsoatreman FC.
After falling out with player, management and the supporters, the board of the club felt a termination of his contract was the only choice.
Manso left Bofoakwa in fifth place on the league table with 16 points.
