Jordan Ayew gets fouled by Ugandan players
Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, isn’t satisfied with the Black Stars 2-2 draw with Uganda and believes the team could have done better than it did against The Cranes.
Ghana took the lead in the international friendly game twice but lost the lead twice to settle for a draw in Otto Addo’s second game in charge of the Black Stars after his appointment earlier this month.
The Black Stars got goals from defender Jerome Opoku and striker Jordan Ayew in the first half but Steven Mukwala and Muhammad Shaban scored for Uganda.
Mukwala plies his trade in the Ghana Premier League for record league winners Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and is engaged in contract negotiations with the Porcupine Warriors. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Speaking on the game, Addo wasn’t impressed with the performance of his team after losing 2-1 to Nigeria in a previous friendly game.
“We have to get over it. There was a good learning today, there were some good parts but…to play 2-2 against Uganda, we expect more”

“We could have done better…in all, the football we played was not good enough. We should have created more chances.”
