The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia must apologise to Ghanaians for mismanaging the economy, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, has said.
Edudzi Tameko indicated that the local currency has seen a sharp decline against the major trading ones.
Similarly, the cost of doing business has gone up, making life unbearable for Ghanaians, he said.
“We are dealing with an exchange rate of 13.75 at a time we are not servicing our debts, if we start servicing our public debts the Cedis will go off the roof,” he said on the New Day show on TV3 Monday, April 8.
“Dr Bawumia has mismanaged the economy, the so-called economic wizkid must apologize to Ghanaians for mismanaging the economy,” he said.
