Saudi Pro Football League side Al-Ittihad is interested in signing Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus from English Premier League side West Ham United.
This is according to American based media outlet ESPN who reported that the 23 year old former Ajax Amsterdam player who starred in his first season in the EPL with the Hammers, could earn a move to the Asian country.
According to Spotrac, Kudus earns £90,000 ($114,351.30) a week in salary with Brazilian Lucas Paqueta earning £150,000 a week as West Ham’s highest paid player. Sources indicate Kudus will earn $300,000 a week in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ittihad compete in the Saudi League that has gained massive popularity in recent seasons over the lucrative transfers of top footballers including Cristiano Ronaldo. Al-Ittihad have former UEFA Champions League winners Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante on their roster.

Kudus recently featured in Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic with the Black Stars bagging a 2-1 win and a 4-3 win respectively.

In his debut season, Kudus finished second in West Ham’s Player of the Season Awards after producing 18 goals and seven assists in 48 games in all competitions.
