Jonathan Sowah ends contract with Libya side Al-Nasr Benghazi after only a half year

Previous Medeama Wearing Club striker, Jonathan Sowah, has finished his visit with Libyan side Al-Nasr Benghazi in the wake of ending his agreement with the club.
The end was done commonly with the two sides consenting to end their commitment only a half year after Sowah joined. He is formally a free specialist.

The 25 year old’s arrangement was supposed to end on December 31, 2025 after he formally joined the North African club on January 27, 2024. He supposedly joined the club for 200,000 Euros.
In the 2023-2024 season Sowah scored three objectives in seven CAF Champions Association appearances; Egypt’s Al-Ahly came out on top for the championship.
Sowah scored four objectives in eight Ghana Head Association appearances for Medeama Wearing Club in the fair finished season.

He starred in Medeama’s title winning campaign in the Ghana League in 2022-2023 with 12 goals and an assist in 20 league appearances.
His fine form got him into the Black Stars for the 2023 AFCON under former head coach Chris Hughton; Ghana got eliminated at the group stage.
