This statement is familiar with people who have had failed relationships and have come to such a sad conclusion that a relationship or marriage is not for them. Many of such people live their lives unhappily because of failed relationships.
If love, relationship or marriage is not meant for you, then why are you not happy without the very things you claim are not for you because of your failed attempt? We are made to love, for our Creator is love. We are created to have relationships that is why it takes a relationship to bring you into this world.
All of us are products of a relationship. Relationships are in our DNA. It is a matter of getting into the right relationship. Life is about learning and anyone who quits learning just does not want to live again. If you have a failed relationship, it offers you an opportunity to learn so that the next time life presents you the opportunity, you can do things differently.
There are many things in life you have tried many times before finally succeeding and you didn’t conclude it was not for you because you failed at the first or tenth attempt. When you were a child, you tried learning many things and failed many times but you did not conclude it was not for you.
You tried walking but fell many times, you didn’t conclude walking was not for you. You tried sucking breast milk without getting milk at times, but you didn’t conclude breast milk was not for you. You tried communicating with the people around you but failed, that did not mean you are not meant to communicate.
Love, relationship, marriage is for you but not everyone is your spouse or partner. Take your time to find your partner. Someone who is not only proud of having you as their spouse but will take all the risk to keep you because you are worth keeping.
In conclusion, “If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don’t ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success” – Proverbs 3:5-6 (TLB).
