The leadership team has previously undertaken similar initiatives in Accra ahead of the formulation of the party’s 2024 ‘Resetting Ghana’ manifesto. During this period, input was gathered from civil society organizations, faith groups, and other key entities to ensure the integration of their concerns into our manifesto,” elucidated Dr Otokunor.
Furthermore, he underscored the necessity of reconnecting with these organizations to present the finalized document, allowing them to comprehend its implications for their respective interests. “Now that our manifesto is finalized, it is imperative to engage with these organizations and elucidate the benefits it holds for each of them. This endeavour transcends mere political activity; it is about fostering relationships and ensuring that our policy implementation aligns with the needs of the populace we serve,” he articulated.
The comprehensive tour is scheduled to commence in Cape Coast, featuring Dr. Otokunor and members of the Directorate. “We are eager to disseminate this discourse across every region, commencing from Cape Coast. These interactions will contribute to the establishment of a more robust, all-encompassing administration that addresses the requirements of all Ghanaians,” he emphasized.
This campaign is an integral component of the NDC’s overarching strategy, endorsed by its presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, aimed at fostering inclusivity and collaboration across diverse sectors.
